Fastening Systems

Plasterboard should be fixed to framing using one of the following fastening systems:

– Combination of adhesive and fasteners；

– Screw fixed only；

– Nail fixed only.

紧固系统

石膏板应使用以下紧固系统之一将其固定在框架上：
– 粘合剂和紧固件的组合；
– 仅用螺丝固定；
– 仅用钉子固定。

NOTES:

  1. The combination adhesive and fastener system is the preferred option for general applications.
  2. Combination adhesive and fastener system must be used on High Shrinkage timbers .
  3. Use a fastener-only system on walls that are to be tiled or that may carry surface-mounted items such as mirrors — do not use adhesive.
  4. Fastener-only system must be used for fixing of FIBEROCK linings.
  5. Stud adhesive does not constitute a fixing system on its own and must be used in conjunction with screws or nails.
  6. Avoid fixing plasterboard linings before the installation of ridge capping and the enclosure of gable ends.

注意:

  1. 粘合剂和紧固件的组合通常是首选。
  2. 使用粘合剂和紧固件的组合应用必须使用高收缩木材。
  3. 在要铺设瓷砖的墙壁上以及可能携带表面安装的物品，如需要安装镜子的地方 – 不要使用粘合剂。

*Min 30mm W screws must be used for ceilings direct fixed to timber framing. Substitution for shorter length screws may increase the risk of screw popping.

#For ease of construction with framing steel gauges of less than 0.8mm BMT use 30mm minimum screw length.

In multi layered systems, first layer to fixed with single layer fastener detail.

All fasteners are to be driven home with the head slightly below the surface of the sheet, but not punched through the face linerboard. Care should be taken to avoid damaging the face or core of the plasterboard.

所有的紧固件都应在头部略低于中心位置的情况下打入板材的表面，但不穿过表面的线材(见下图正确的图示)。但应注意避免损坏石膏板的表面或核心。

Adhesive daubs and fasteners must always be 200mm minimum apart.

Gyprock Acrylic Stud Adhesive – Gyprock丙烯酸螺柱粘合剂

Gyprock Acrylic Stud Adhesive is coloured blue for easy identification. It can be used on timber or steel framing in temperatures not less than 5ºC. It has a low toxicity, and does not represent a fire hazard when used in confined spaces. This product is suitable for use with pre-painted metal battens and some treated timbers. Always follow directions on packaging.

Gyprock 丙烯酸螺柱粘合剂为蓝色，便于识别。 它可用于温度不低于 5ºC 的木材或钢框架。 它的毒性低，在密闭空间使用时不会引起火灾。 该产品适用于涂漆金属板条和一些经过处理的木材。 需按照包装上的说明使用。

Contact surfaces must be free of oil, grease or other foreign materials before application.

The adhesive is applied with a broad knife to form 25mm diameter by 15mm high walnuts.

用宽刀涂抹粘合剂，抹成25mm直径为15mm高的胡桃状。

Warning

  1. Stud adhesive MUST NOT be used on TILED WET AREA systems.
  2. Daubs of adhesive must never coincide with fastener points.
  3. Stud adhesive does not constitute a fixing system on its own and it must be used in conjunction with nail or screw fasteners.
  4. Stud adhesive MUST NOT be relied on in FIRE RATED systems.

警告

  1. 螺柱粘合剂不能用于贴瓷砖的潮湿区域。
  2. 粘合剂涂抹点不得与紧固件点重合。

Gyprock Masonry Adhesive – Gyprock 砌体粘合剂

Gyprock Masonry Adhesive is used to adhere Gyprock plasterboards to concrete and all masonry substrates.

Gyprock砌体粘合剂用于将Gyprock石膏板粘贴到混凝土和所有砌体基材上。
