We subcontracted this office partition and warehouse staff room project from ABI Building & Maintenance in June 2020.
- The Rondo 64mm Stud/Track framing system is utilized to construct the partition wall frame along with two layers of 13mm plasterboard.
- Extra back blocking is added on the ceiling top, and double steel studs are employed around the door to better support the door or additional fittings. In the TV or cupboard walls section, extra timber or plywood nogging has been fixed.
- L-bead setting clear finishing the top end of wall (60m), 100mm Aluminum skirting board (matching existing) (60m) to clear finishing wall foot, and set steel external angle to square finishing wall corner (40m).
The most challenging part was the warehouse staff room. As the warehouse ceiling is over 8 meters high, the builder constructed a timber frame for this standalone staff room instead of using the Rondo dropdown ceiling system.
